There are wonders and beauties all around us, but do we really see them?
"Art Is Everywhere" shows us how to look more carefully at our everyday world in a way that makes art easily accessible. Instead of struggling to define art, we learn to understand it as a trigger for new and different interpretations of what already surrounds us.
The artist's passion for taking photos of cities -scratches, marks, posters and other objects - led to a two-day workshop, with participants invited to explore with new eyes, and to document their findings with photographs.
This book is the result of that experience.
Each photo carries a story, revealing the unexpected in everyday life in various cities. This illustrated book acts as a kind of toolkit to enable us to decode the world around us in completely fresh ways.
Through ingenious collages and montages, this book inspires us to use art as a lens through which to view our familiar surroundings, altering our expectations of everyday objects and truly blurring the boundary between what is framed and what is not.

From the Author
Have you ever wondered why our senses become more alert when, say as tourists, we visit a city for the first time? And why it often seems that nothing extraordinary or exceptional ever happens along our daily routes?
From the Back Cover
Is it possible to discover something wonderful and special without the necessity of visiting museums, monuments, or other places that differ from our habitual haunts?
"Art is Everywhere" combines science with hands-on practices used in art workshops to illustrate how ordinary things can be seen differently and how art can, sometimes, be helpful.
This toolkit enables you to look at and decode the world around you in a completely fresh way.
