I hope you will able to experience with these information much of the same evocative feeling I had while writing the book, the very emotional sense deep rooted in the everlasting Celtic spirituality of this ancient instrument so related to the enchanting music of airs, songs, and jingling dance tunes. The book was launched on August 1st, a special date indeed, not only because it is Lugnasadh, but also because it was the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of my first Live Performancealong with my Salvi lever harp.
More than a compilation of useful information for all those interested to explore the magical world of the Celtic harp, this book is almost a labour of love, and my public recognition for all those pleasant hours it gave to me and the portals I was able to trespass thanks to it .
I hope you will share my passion and feel the wish to trace the same sacred paths that lead us to a world of crystal sounds.
Let the Celtic Spirit keep on flaming on our souls Bliss and blessings to you all...

A Must Read for Serious Harpers/Harpists
By Amazon Customer
I was greatly impressed by the amount of history of the celtic harp in this book. No more searching the internet for articles. All the work has been done and compiled in this book. It is NOT a dry historical book; it is an entertaining and informative read. I personally discovered that reading this book helped me to connect even deeper with my harp and the music I play. I would recommend this book to all lever harp and pedal harp players and students, as well as craftsmen who build harps. It is also interesting for anyone curious about Celtic lifestyle and history. I took a chance purchasing the download and I am very glad I did!!!

Good summary of the history of the Celtic Harp
By C. Ridgway
This book is a good summary of the history of the Celtic Harp. It only gets four stars as some of the English writing style is not very good, no doubt due to English being a second language for the Author. The history of the Celtic harp in the Spanish celtic regions and also Brittany is a welcome highlight of this little book.

Celtic Harp
By Donald Davidson Matthews
I found this a very enjoyable history of the Celtic harp in Scotland and Ireland. Sadly, the rich history of the Welsh harp is not fully explored, only mentioned. The author is sometimes repetitious. The editing and text formatting is at times messy, but overall this is a useful history for harpers all over the world.
